On 2 March, the remaining two phases of the farm – Phase II consisting of 30 turbines and infrastructure and Phase III containing 11 turbines and infrastructure – were granted the Permit to Operate. The farm already has a set of Permits for Use, TOCs for ONDE and VESTAS have been signed. The construction phase is over – time for operation 😊. Thanks to all the builders: Jurek with the whole ONDE team, Diego with the whole VESTAS team and Paul with the whole WSP team. Thanks also go towards our partner MIROVA, the financing banks EKF and DNB and the advisors DNV and EVEROZE. Finally, thanks also to the Entire URIEL Team. At the same time, we welcome PZU SA, which took over part of the loan portfolio related to the construction of BBFW, as a lender.
Also on 2 March, the BBFW signed an annex to the Contract for Compensation Investments with the Municipality of Biały Bór. The purpose of the annex was to establish the scope of work that BBFW will carry out in the Przybrda village as part of the investment. As a reminder, at the time of signing the Agreement, the inhabitants of the village were undecided as to how they wanted to spend the PLN 450,000 allocated to their village. The annex settled this issue and, among other things, 2 playgrounds, an outdoor gym and a village hall will be built in the village. Residents will also receive a tractor for mowing lawns. In the end, the value of the works for Przybrda amounted to approximately PLN 456,000. In addition, the Annex also settled the issue of future funds related to compensation investments, which the BBFW undertook to provide to the residents of the villages of Biała, Biskupice, Przybrda, Drzonowo, Stepień and Świerszczewo. Let us recall that this is an amount of PLN 1.5 million in every 5 years of operation of the Biały Bór Wind Farm.
